Tao of The Addams Family

Autumn people | Allow me to introduce myself | tao of The Addams Family

To me the old dark-comedy of the 60"s "The Addams Family" represents the positive dark family ideals of the autumn people. I went through some of the books that had been written either when the television show was aired or the newer movies had been made in the 90"s and found sayings from these characters. From these sayings I found that deeper meanings could be gleaned from them.

"Sic gorgiamus allos subjectatos Nuc" "We gladly feast on those who would subdue us. Not just pretty words."

"It is said that a man who has himself for a lawyer is a fool, as god is my witness I am that fool!"

"It's so nice and gloomy."

"After tonight you will never view worms the same ever again."

"Schools! I never went to any fancy schools, I had upbringing like no other, and see how I turned out."

"The secret is in the dung beetles, they give it that extra crunch."

"Psychopaths, fiends, mad-dog killers-roots,lest we forget."

"I like to think ones day begins at sunset, rather than ends. Theres something invigorating about awakening to the first clammy shrouds of darkness! It makes the blood wonderfully sluggish."

"There are no Sampsons in slumberland! The greatest hero is hopefully incapable of defense when he's dozing."

"I make all my own clothes, I always say why buy your clothes off the rack when you spend all your time on the rack."
